I didn’t believe in energy work till these last few months. If you’re interested in reiki, try to find the right person. I lucked out right away. My first session was extremally heavy and I needed two days of mental and physical recovery. I was more scared to go back second time than I was doing a spinal tap.

I am someone who cannot do typical therapy. I hate talking to other people about my problems. I find therapists annoying as *$%# and they get their own ego involved. I do not like massages because I do not like people touching me. Reiki was still a huge step out of my comfort zone. I felt naked.

I’ve done three sessions now and they do get easier but still just as progressive each time. I truly walked in with a semi open mind and my guard up. It all got shattered within 30 minutes. This has helped my mental state massively. I would have mechanical dark thoughts. I wouldn’t even call it depressive thoughts. Truly thoughts so dark and graphic that they were emotionless.
