OH the journey

Over 10 years ago my body had been showing me all the areas I needed to listen to.

• Constant sinus infections (suppressed irritation, not worthy of speaking up)

• Debilitating migraines (poor personal boundaries, overwhelmed by to do list, people pleaser!)

• Allergies to Dairy & peanut butter (deep grief, insecurities especially in childhood, hostile relationships, boundaries only after being provoked, resentment, rejection, suppressed anger towards controlling people)

• Anxiety (often felt like a failure, unresolved trauma piled up, feeling trapped and worried too far into the future on things that may or may not matter

• Digestive issues (emotional burdens, not digesting emotions and ideas, emotional stress, fear of future)

• Strep throat - yes I had strep many times as an adult which I blamed on the little ones, but...(angry for not being able to express or defend oneself, suppressing own truth)

• Ptsd - (suppressed traumatic events, inability to feel safe, lack of control)

• I also drank an absurd amount of alcohol (disconnected from self, purpose, family, friends, running from the true emotions)

Constant Metaphysical Symptoms Manifesting as physical symptoms

Suppressed Irritation

Poor Personal Boundaries

People Pleasing

Migraines, Resentment, Rejection

Anxiety (often felt like a failure)

Suppressed Trauma and Depression

Unhealthy addictions

Essentially I had a lot of self worth things to work through along with being able to speak and use my voice for what matters.

Reflecting on the metaphysical meanings of these symptoms makes so much more sense now than it did then.

Our bodies are always speaking to us, yet we've lived in a world of quick fixes to get back to work to pay the bills.

When I started my own business, I had no idea all these things would come up to clear, but not in the same way, they were lighter because I started listening to that pain in my right ankle (flexibility in movement forward) to the slight headaches which turned out better boundaries really worked.

I learned to say YES to my intuition and NO to the things that were not in alignment, values and goals.

This opened up a whole new world to me.

• A new connection to what my body is telling me

• A new connection to my ancestors that have left this earth

• A new amazing connection and understanding with my parents

• A new connection with animals

• A new connection with my healing abilities

• A renewed sense of integrity and morals

And boy, does it feel good! It's like a whole new life.

Today, I went to see my doctor here on Maui, where I hug the receptionist when i walk in, like seeing a friend. A place with a view of the ocean, an outdoor waiting room, sounds of birds as I'm being seen...in a Yurt.

Where my doctor doesn't rush to see me to get to the next patient but takes his time to address any questions.

I'm so grateful for this life I got to create, one where I help others with physical symptoms, understading their intuition, releasing energy That's not theirs, calling in their power, their voice

...because I once was there too!

And honestly, this new chapter of my life, it puts a smile on my face that friends can literally feel across oceans!
